Hello! We have made changes to the HaverhillRobotics Website in order to better improve your understanding of who we are and what we are doing. I have added a section for Zero Robotics, and updated the BotBall section, which can both be found under "News". Also, the "Robotics with Jeffrey" column link is now fixed, it was broken before. If you have any question or complaints about the site, feel free to email me at \n This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. Hello, Haverhill Robotics has returned from Botball 2012! sadly, we did not win, but we again won an award for "Judges Choice of Most Promising Ingenuity" . Also, here is some photos of our finished robots:
2012 BotBall has started! This year, the theme for BotBall is coral reef re-construction. Teams must compete to gather Polyps, Brain Coral, Kelp, and other materials and put them in their respective areas. Bots are also faced with the challenge to stack 3 blocks of different colors in a specific order. Haverhill Robotics is now underway in planning and building our two bots, and we are off to a great start! Anyone is welcome to join our team, no matter how much experience you have. Wish us luck as we work to become regional champs of BotBall 2012!
Moving on from regionals, Haverhill Robotics got to go to GCER - the Global Conference on Educational Robotics - this summer in Anaheim, California! There they were able to bake it past a few rounds before being beaten and eventually joining in the alliance matches. Their allies were unortunately inexperienced and theit robots were underdeveloped and there wasn't enough time to get them in working order. This made it tough to score many points in these rounds. Read on for the good news!
